Even our pets deserve a vacation, don’t they?

You can travel with your cat or dog onboard AirConnect flights, just follow the conditions below.


If your cat or dog weighs up to 8 kg, including the cage, it can travel with you in the cabin.

The maximum cage size allowed is 40 cm x 30 cm x 24 cm (length x width x height).

In order to travel with a pet in an EU state, live animals must meet the following requirements:

All animals must be at least 3 months old, vaccinated, clean, odorless, independent of breast milk, non-pregnant to travel.

You will be assigned a window seat during your flight, except an emergency seat, and the pet and cage will be placed under the seat in front of you.

If you are travelling with an infant, you cannot also travel with a pet in cabin. The pet must travel with another person or in the hold.

When you fly with your pet, you must present yourself at the airport for check-in formalities 2 hours prior to the departure time, even if you have done the online check-in.


If your cat or dog weighs more than 8 kg, including the cage, and up to 32 kg, it can travel in the hold.

The maximum cage size allowed is 120 cm x 80 cm x 80 cm (length x width x height). The cage must:

  • be large enough so that the animal can stand upright, turn in the cage, and lie horizontally normally
  • be robust, clean, closed, tight and protected against possible penetration
  • protect the person handling it against being scratched or bitten by the animal
  • prevent the deterioration of the animal's health condition
  • prevent any part of the animal from protruding from the cage
  • be adequately ventilated on at least 3 (three) sides
  • have containers for food and water to which the animal has access
  • be provided by the passenger.

In order to travel with a pet in an EU state, live animals must meet the following requirements:

You can transport more animals in one cage if a decent comfort is provided to stand or lay simultaneously without touching each other but respecting the weight and limit allowed.

The transport of brachycephalic animals in the hold is not recommended.
