Visit Milan Bergamo

Milan is the capital of Lombardy, the biggest industrial city in Italy, making it a financial hub. It is also a design hub, with many designers’ luxury stores, many artists, photographers, and models, the most stylish city in Italy.

There is a lot of history in the city, and walking through the streets of Milan will bring you near impressive churches and palaces. But it would be best if you started with a visit to Duomo di Milano, in the city center.

Piazza del Duomo is Milan’s biggest square, home to this large Gothic cathedral. Take your time soaking up the atmosphere at a café or restaurant, then visit the massive Duomo with its 135 spires and countless statues. You can head up to its rooftop terraces for amazing city views and underground to see the archeological area. It took more than 500 years to build the Duomo with its over 3400 statues.

The world’s oldest mall, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, is also here, in the city center. This wonderful, glass-ceilinged arcade connects the piazzas of the Duomo and the Teatro alla Scala opera house and is filled with cafes and high-end boutiques. You can spend an entire day here, gazing through the windows and drinking cappuccinos 😊

You should also plan a visit to the National Museum of Science and Technology, where most of the inventions from Leonardo da Vinci are stored.
